We’ve had the honor of representing Gregory Gourdet since before he opened the doors to Kann, his live-fire restaurant, in 2022. Already regarded as a beloved TV personality and chef, Gregory embarked on his first restaurant opening at the age of 46 with a strong foundation under his belt. We recognized an opportunity to reintroduce Gregory to the world as one of the most respected restaurateurs in the nation.

During Kann’s first year in business, it was hailed the “Best New Restaurant in America” by Esquire. Countless other accolades and elaborate magazine spreads followed in top tier publications nationally and internationally. In 2025, Kann was declared one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants in North America. In three years he took home three consecutive James Beard Foundation Awards. Further, Haiti’s cuisine was celebrated on an international stage for the first time. Kann’s opening ignited massive, widespread, and ongoing dialogue on the rise of Caribbean cuisine in America, meaningfully elevating the category. 

 

Beyond the restaurant’s four walls, Foxglove focused on expanding Gregory’s story beyond the mainstream epicurean outlets you’d expect. We placed a concerted emphasis on strategically sharing the full picture of a multi-faceted talent from securing a Men’s Health contributor column that Gregory pens regularly, detailing his passion for nutrition and wellness, to arranging fashion spread in Esquire, offering a behind-the-curtain look at his style. Above all, our strategy ensures that Gregory’s voice, values, and vision always remain central to the narrative.
